JBWere Masters

One of Australia's marquee golf tournaments, the JBWere Australian Masters is back in 2010, this year being staged at The Victoria Golf Club.  After the incredible success of the Masters in 2009, in which many records of Australian Golf were smashed, the tournament has positioned itself at the pinnacle of golf tournaments in the country. 

The defending champion, Tiger Woods has confirmed he will return to Melbourne, and will be joined by three of the top players in the world, Spaniard Sergio Garcia, Colombian Camilo Villegas and Australian, Geoff Ogilvy.

In 2008, IMG entered into a long term strategic partnership with the Victoria Government to build the annual JBWere Masters into a “Best in Class” event that provides for a highpoint on the Australian golfing calendar.  The event’s reoccurring proposition of “Best in Class” is anchored by IMG’s commitment to deliver the world’s best international golfers, joined by the leading Australian professionals, to play Melbourne’s world renowned sandbelt golf courses.
