Whenever a trip to Australia is suggested its always Melbourne that is in the forefront for me.
I am always asked why do I want to do there?
My answer is always stock standard to ride the trams. There is nothing more relaxing for me than to get on a tram to the end of the line and then return.
The places you see is the real Melbourne. Its got a home town feeling.
The people on the trams are intersting as well. Some will chat and thats the real people of this city.
With trams running night and day we can do this at any stage.
The best ride is after a fantastic dinner on Lygon St and then a walk to find the nearest tram, cuddle up on a seat, hold hands and watch the world go by.
Thats just so cool for us.
