Red Hill and Main Ridge

Scupltures at Montalto winery

You'll be surprised at how this compact micro region sustains such sumptuous vineyards, restaurants, food stores, artisan producers and orchards.

Hedonistic hinterland
Criss-cross the hillsides laced with vines and olive groves to meet local food producers. Enjoy a cheese platter at Red Hill Cheeses, a cheeky drop at Red Hill Brewery and intriguing wine bread at Red Hill Bakery.

Share plates of local produce with friends at The Long Table or dine at winery restaurants like Max's at Red Hill Estate, Vines of Red Hill, 10 Minutes by Tractor and Montalto Vineyard and Olive Grove.

Hop between conveniently close cellar doors to compare pinot noir, pinot gris and chardonnay. Take the shuttle service or a personalised wine tour instead of driving.

Pick a winner
Fill a bucket with strawberries at Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm, or pluck cherries at Ellisfield Farm. Take home treats from MP Gourmet members in the Red Hill village centre.

Select a memento of your stay in this creative village from the famous Red Hill Market (monthly) or from Gordon Studio Glassblowers' coloured glass art, bowls and vases.
